MPERSS trials
| Date(s) and period(s) of trials |
Brief summary of results |
| November 2002 |
The results were satisfactory but duplications of work were being noted. The stakeholders responsibility had to be redefined with more precision.
Materials like charts to monitor the oil spill trajectory was not available or they do not cover the incidence area. The communication center had to be reorganised with more facilities.
The command control center under the Director of Environment/NOSP functioned well. The minister of Environment also came personally to boost up the moral of all the stakeholders involved in the simulation exercises. |
